Badenoch and Strathspey is a local government district in Highland Region, Scotland. Its chief communities are Aviemore, Grantown-on-Spey, Kincraig, and Kingussie. Aviemore is a winter sports center with many hotels. Grantown-on-Spey, a resort on the River Spey, is noted for both skiing and salmon fishing. Kincraig is a charming village near the Highland Wildlife Park. Kingussie is home to the Highland Folk Museum.
