Gordon is a local government district in the Grampian Region in northeastern Scotland. It is administered from the town of Inverurie. The district’s main industries are farming and forestry. In the towns, light industries are important, particularly some that are related to the North Sea oil industry. The Don valley and the area around Huntly are popular with tourists.
