Lee, River, is a river in the southern part of the Republic of Ireland. It rises in Gougane Barra lake in western County Cork, and flows east for about 50 miles (80 kilometers) to Lough Mahon, part of Cork Harbour. The River Lee is famous for salmon and trout. A hydroelectric power station is located on the river.
