Maroochy River is a river in Queensland, Australia. It flows into the Pacific Ocean at Maroochydore, a vacation and fishing resort 75 miles (121 kilometers) north of Brisbane. On its way, the river waters a rich sugar- and fruit-growing area. The Maroochy is fed by two tributaries, the North Maroochy and the South Maroochy.
