It lies on the Murray River in Sunraysia, Australia’s leading dried fruit area. Mildura is a popular tourist resort in winter because of its warm winter climate. It is the center of one of the most progressive irrigated settlements in Australia. Chief products include grapes, oranges, sultanas, and currants.
