Returned & Services League of Australia, popularly known as the RSL, is an organization for current and former members of the Australian Defence Force. It works to promote the welfare of veterans and current servicemen and women and their dependents. It was first formed as a national organization on June 6, 1916. It adopted its current name in 1990.
