Slieve Bloom is a range of mountains in the northwestern part of the province of Leinster in the Republic of Ireland. The border between the counties of Laois and Offaly runs along the mountain ridge. Slieve Bloom is made up largely of sandstone. Its highest peak, Arderin, rises to 1,733 feet (528 meters) above sea level.
