Suir, River, is a river in the southeastern part of the Republic of Ireland. It rises in the Devilsbit Mountain in Tipperary and flows south and then southeast before joining the Rivers Nore and Barrow near Waterford Harbour. Part of the Suir’s course is through the Golden Vale, a prosperous dairy-farming area.
