Teifi, River, runs through southwest Wales. It rises at the Teifi Pools, near Strata Florida, and flows through Lampeter, Newcastle Emlyn, and Cardigan to St. George’s Channel. The river contains salmon, trout, and other fish, and it is a popular sportfishing area. Wildlife thrives along the banks of much of the River Teifi.
