Torbay

Torbay (pop. 139,324) is a town on the south coast of Devon, England. It is a unitary authority, the primary form of local government in the United Kingdom. Torbay was formed in 1968 by uniting the three seaside resorts of Brixham, Paignton, and Torquay. The climate of the region is mild for the United Kingdom. Torquay’s public gardens contain many trees and shrubs native to subtropical regions. See also Devon.
