Waitemata Harbour

Waitemata Harbour is the main harbor of Auckland, on the North Island of New Zealand. It is an inlet of the Hauraki Gulf, on the eastern side of the city. The harbor covers 77 square miles (200 square kilometers). The name waitemata comes from a Māori phrase meaning the sparkling waters.
