South Alabama, University of, is a public, state-supported institution of higher learning in Mobile, Alabama. The university was founded in 1963. It is primarily a liberal arts school, though it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a wide variety of fields. The university’s athletic teams are nicknamed the Jaguars.
