Chadron State College

Chadron State College is a public, state-supported institution of higher learning in Chadron, Nebraska. It was founded in 1910 as Nebraska State Normal College. Its name was changed to Nebraska State Teachers College in 1943. As its curriculum broadened, the college was renamed Chadron State College in 1960. The college’s athletic teams are called the Eagles.
