South Australia, University of, is an institution of higher education in Adelaide, Australia. It was formed in 1991 through the merger of the South Australian Institute of Technology with three campuses of the South Australian College of Advanced Education. These institutions traced their history to the South Australian School of Mines, established in 1889, and the Adelaide School of Arts, founded in 1856.
