Nashville Predators

Nashville Predators are a professional hockey team that plays in the National Hockey League (NHL) . The team competes in the Central Division of the Western Conference. The Predators play in the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Nashville entered the NHL as an expansion team for the 1998-1999 season. The Predators had their first winning season in 2003-2004, which was also the first time they made the playoffs. The team has made the playoffs nearly every season since then. In 2017, the Predators reached the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in team history but lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins .

Stars for the Predators have included right winger J. P. Dumont; left wingers Viktor Arvidsson, Filip Forsberg, and Paul Kariya; centers Jason Arnott and David Legwand; defensemen Roman Josi and Shea Weber; and goalie Pekka Rinne.
