McMahon, Julian (1968-…), is an Australian actor known for his good looks. He is the son of William McMahon, the prime minister of Australia in 1971 and 1972.
Julian Dana William McMahon was born on July 27, 1968, in Sydney. He studied law at the University of Sydney. He later became a fashion model. McMahon starred in the Australian TV dramas “The Power, the Passion” in 1989 and “Home and Away” from 1989 to 1991.
McMahon became a successful television actor in the United States. He appeared in the daytime drama “Another World” from 1992 to 1994 and in the crime drama “Profiler” from 1996 to 2000. He gained fame for his role as the half-demon Cole Turner in the fantasy series “Charmed,” from 2000 to 2005. McMahon starred in the medical series “Nip/Tuck” from 2003 to 2010. In that series, he played a plastic surgeon named Christian Troy, who carried on many affairs with women.
McMahon made his film debut in Wet and Wild Summer! (1992). In 2005, he starred as the villain Victor Von Doom in the box-office hit Fantastic Four, based on the popular comic book series. He also starred in the 2007 sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. McMahon’s other notable films include the thrillers Magenta (1996), Prisoner (2007), and Premonition (2007), and the action comedy Red (2010).
