Dogue de Bordeaux, << DOHG duh bawr DOH, >> is a muscular dog breed of France. It is a stocky, powerful dog with short fur. It is yellowish-brown in color. The dogue de Bordeaux reaches 23 to 27 inches (58 to 69 centimeters) tall at the shoulder. An adult weighs more than 100 pounds (45 kilograms).

The dogue de Bordeaux is an ancient dog breed named after the Bordeaux region of southwestern France. People use it as a guardian and hunting dog. Pet owners prize it as a calm, affectionate companion.
