Miller, Von (1989-…), is an outstanding linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He is known for his success in rushing the quarterback and ranks among the NFL leaders in sacks (tackles of a quarterback that result in a loss of yards).
The Denver Broncos selected Miller as the second player in the 2011 NFL draft. Miller was named to the NFL Pro Bowl team as a rookie. In 2016, he was named the Most Valuable Player in Super Bowl 50, leading the Broncos to a 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers. In 2021, the Broncos traded Miller to the Los Angeles Rams. In 2022, Miller signed a contract to play with the Buffalo Bills.
Vonnie B’Vsean Miller, Jr., was born on March 26, 1989, in Dallas, Texas. He was a star defensive player for DeSoto High School in suburban Dallas. Miller attended Texas A&M University from 2007 to 2010, playing both linebacker and defensive end. He was named to the All-American team his senior year and received the Butkus Award as the nation’s top college linebacker. Miller graduated with a degree in agriculture focusing on poultry science and operates his own chicken farm. He has created Von’s Vision, an organization to provide low-income young people in the Denver area with eye examinations and glasses. Miller himself wears eyeglasses to correct a vision problem. His glasses have become a signature fashion statement.
