Charles, James (1999-…), is an American makeup artist, model, and internet personality. In 2016, Charles became the first male spokesperson for the cosmetics company CoverGirl.
James Charles Dickinson was born May 23, 1999, in Bethlehem, New York . He began experimenting with cosmetics as a teenager. In 2015, Charles established a YouTube channel and began posting makeup tutorials. The posts quickly became popular, eventually gaining the channel millions of subscribers. Charles also gained millions of followers on Instagram . He became the host of the YouTube reality competition series “Instant Influencer,” which debuted in 2020.
