Wings of Fire is a series of fantasy adventure books for children written by the Venezuelan-born American author Tui T. Sutherland. The series centers on 10 tribes of dragons, following their many wars, friendships, and quests. The “Wings of Fire” series includes novels, graphic novels, and short stories.
The first novel, Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy, was published in 2012. The book follows five dragons who are destined to end a war among the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia, a world ruled by dragons. Most of the books are written from the point of view of dragons, with the dragons having humanlike traits and emotions. Wings of Fire Legends: Darkstalker (2016) and Wings of Fire Legends: Dragonslayer (2020) are written from the point of view of humans.
